I've attached a screen capture of the inaugural MCFC2 HU match at the stroke of midnight ... actually at 12:06 to be exact.
With my Baby Becks desktop cheering me on I took an early lead on DP.
Rowin watched the fast paced HU action and began the scouting process of his opposition.
HU Match #1 - $5.25
This ended rather quickly after some initial small ball. My first 3-bet with AQ was not well received with DP's 4-bet shove. I was 99% I was calling but thought things over.
1) DP is running terrible
2) I'm running good.
3) DP's range is sooooo wide here that he knows I can't call without a hand
4) I call and DP actually has JJ (much better than I thought .. but still flipping)
Ace on the turn and GC is up 1-0
HU Match #2 - $5.25
The rematch is more the same with GC hitting every card imaginable and being dealt premium hands from the poker gods. We get it All In Pre Flop (AIPF) with my A8 dominating DP's A3 ... yes, I INSTA-CALLED DP's shove with A8o! That's how I roll ... actually more so because I know how DP rolls when he's on mild tilt! :)
DP pauses to regroup for a while ... offers Rowin the chance to play me HU ... then decides "let's play $10 HU" ... I guess DP didnt get kicked in the junk enough tonight.
HU Match #3 - $10.50
DP took the early lead when he made a correct hero call on the end with Ace high. I think I completely butchered the hand and my hand didnt make sense in any shape!! But you know what? When you flop the nuts and hit EVERY draw ... NO PROBLEM !!! :)

Props to NC who played his first ever SNG on Full Tilt poker. It took him a while to get used to the interface & buttons. He managed to take his 2nd SNG down! Yup yup ....

Can I blog or only comment... I don't know what's what... anyway, did my first 2 11+0.5 HU matches... took them both down, up $21... how do the mandatory HU matches work? Is there a card, where it goes bang bang like a fight night?

I like your idea of a 'fight night'. That would allow guys to watch some of the other matches. The probably is scheduling everyone. But even if some of us could make it, it would be fun.

I on the other hand am playing some pretty terrible poker these days(rumor has it that I might challenge DP record for rebuys)and am hoping for everyone to go on tilt for me to have a chance to repeat.I won a HU but it came on March 31,2009 but it shows up on OPR as April 1.I am actually down 5.50$.

Slow and steady wins the race.....
Just played a 4 man HU tourney. So I play against one guy, and if I win, I move to the finals against the winner of the other semi. In my semi, I got sucked out on 3 times while the money was all in and I was ahead including A7 vs A8 where he spiked 2 7's on the flop. The 4th time however, I had AK vs his KQ and I held to advance to the semis after about a 25 minute match.
First hand in the finals, dude moves all in. I wake up with AQs and snap call. I hold and take down the tourney. This seems familiar to MCFC 1..I remember going down early to my last $10 before making a sweet run.
