MCFC 1 :: Champion - DC !!!

He was the underdog from the beginning.
He received the least number of votes and used that snub to propel him to victory.

DC did luckbox an MTT final table but that didn't win him the inaugural MCFC.

He proved to be a luckbox at the cash game tables as well.
Seriously, something like 4 pocket pairs turning into 4 sets, paid EVERY time ... c'mon! :)

In all seriousness DC, a job well-done!

You got pwned by me and DP at HU battles each and every time.
So while you can't claim to be the best HU player amongst the 3 of us, you can certainly claim to be the MCFC champion and that's all that counts isn't it?

The engraving has begun and I'll post a picture of the trophy once I pick it up.
Then we'll have the official presentation ceremony ala Masters green jacket presentation.

To all the fans out there following from the beginning, (especially you goooooodgirl) thanks for all the support, the mocking, and the constant nagging to update the blog.

I'm sorry I disappointed all those who chose me to win .... I'll do better next time.

Let me know who wants to be part of MCFC 2 where we'll modify some rules to mix things up.
